Atari has released Rollercoaster Tycoon Classic for Android and iOS devices. The game features the contents of both the first and second RollerCoaster Tycoon games.
The mobile version of the game does not contain microtransactions, but players are able to purchase the game's expansion packs via in-app purchases, including the Wacky Worlds expansion pack and the Time Twister expansion pack.Aside from expansion content players can also purchase access to an additional toolkit function that allows them to create their own scenario's, create their own roller coaster designs and gain access to an import and export function to share creations with friends.
With the toolkit players are also able to import parks that they have created whilst playing the PC version of RollerCoaster Tycoon 2. The toolkit is fully compatible with the game's original savegame files.
The mobile version of the game features a reworked user interface that is optimized for mobile gameplay, but should still be recognizable to those who have played the original.
